As a result, ModernSportsman.com has no control over the quality, safety or legality of anything advertised, the truth or accuracy of the listings, the ability of a seller to sell the item listed or the ability of the buyer to buy such item. ModernSportsman.com cannot ensure that a buyer will actually buy, or a seller actually sell. Instead, this forum is merely a place where registered users can post items for sale or trade, and other registered users can respond to the ad, or not, at their own discretion. Think of this forum as a bulletin board in a hallway where you work...we provide the board space and that is all.

Because ModernSportsman.com is not involved in the actual transaction between buyer and seller, in the event you have a dispute over a sale or trade, you release ModernSportsman.com (and all those associated with ModernSportsman.com in any capacity) from claims, demands, damages (actual and consequential) of every kind and nature arising out of or in any way connected with whatever dispute you may be having, real, imagined, or otherwise.

Both the buyer and seller release ModernSportsman.com (and those associated with ModernSportsman.com in any capacity) of any and all liability resulting from the use or misuse of any item listed for sale or trade. Likewise, the buyer and seller [or people who trade] agree to hold ModernSportsman.com (and those associated with ModernSportsman.com in any capacity) harmless, and to indemnify ModernSportsman.com, if a loss or some damage is experienced through the use of this forum.

Mandatory three (3) day inspection period applies to all products including firearms. If you list a firearm for sale or trade here, it must be a firearm you are legally entitled to sell or trade, you must follow all laws [both state and federal], and you must provide the buyer with the opportunity to inspect the firearm for a three (3) day period. If you are a buyer, you must be legally capable of buying [contracting], and you must follow all laws [both state and federal]. The specifics of the three (3) day inspection period is to be worked out between the parties to the transaction. Questions of whether the buyer can fire the firearm, inspect the internals of the firearm, etc., are to be worked out between the buyer and seller. ModernSportsman.com plays no role in this whatsoever, with the exception of requiring folks who sell firearms to entitle the buyer to see what he / she is buying, and the condition of the same, if the buyer so chooses.
